Comic #129: Phantom - The Devil Cult

I had to reformat my laptop last night, but before I did that, I got a comic ready for posting and put it in the drafts :-))))))) Didn't want to take a risk - what if something went wrong!!! Nothing went wrong, had a image from a previous install that I restored and I was back in action. Took me another 3 hours to finetune some stuff and update the laptop with the latest updates/software. Got to cut a new image today and keep it ready for the next time.

Hope you liked the bloghops in the last couple of posts. There are a few things that I have to do now
1. Announce winner of the Old Jungle Saying contest
2. Respond to tags by crusadertvm and Anthony (they tagged me 3 months ago)
3. Post an image for sketchy self - for winning the "What happened at 22?" kauntest!!! - DONE

The Graduate comic comes to TCP

Pradyot has created The Graduate comic series and has been kind enough to give TCP permission to "syndicate" his work. Thanks Pradyot.

This will not be a regular series (so you can't call it syndication in the actual sense), but an odd comic that I like will be up for display here.

The purists (not you obi wan - but there's an audience that might not necessarily like this) need not worry, we will stick to our favourite comics but we have a platform that can be used to encourage artists like Pradyot. And also someone like KomixKreate. Btw, KomixKreate has decided to plunge headlong (strong word huh?) into comic creation ;-) and some of you are responsible for encouraging him :-) Thank you and keep encouraging him.



Bloghopping
Saw this article called "The Maharaja is Here" via desipundit. Great start to the article and if there are any mummies here, they would probably identify with what the lady says. For the daddies and would-be daddies (don't worry if you aren't married yet), this is a small insight into what a woman goes through under such circumstances. I mean that in a happy way of course. Don't Miss it!

KomixKreate is an artist and he has created this site called indiancomics.blogspot.com which has illustrations of comics he has worked on. Look at it and if you have any good concepts, maybe it will be the birth of a new online comic!!! Don't miss this site. And encourage him so that his enthusiasm is back to give us some great comics.

Check out http://phorum.thedan.org/ They like us so much that they want to steal some of us ;-) And it's a great forum so don't miss it :-)

This is not a comic site but take a look at it just for how well it has been designed. Fantastic design. Loved it.
Cutting The Chai

Your contributions and encouragement has helped keep TCP alive and hit the first anniversary. Take a look at Keep Those Games Alive by our very own cloudy and send her some ideas that she can post :-) Doesn't matter how crazy or childish the game is, cloudy is fantastic at making it super interesting.

Also check out a new site called My Heroes by TCP contributor Sunshine. She talks about her heroes, one of them being a certain Mr.Robertson.
